Swedish Graduations

Swedish graduations are quite different from the American's. They do not have a long ceremony where each student walks up on stage to receive their diploma-- in fact they do that privately and just walk out of the school wearing white. Their family and friends gather around with a huge poster with the graduates name and a picture of the graduate (generally when they were young). The graduates must find their picture and then their family and friends greet them and drape flowers over their necks. Shortly after the graduates get in huge trucks that are decorated like "floats" and are driven around the local town. This year I was fortunate to see 5 of my friends graduations and here are the photos from them!
